Special District Local Laws Code § 1023.054","heading":"BOARD VACANCY.","body":"(a) If a vacancy occurs in the office of director, the remaining directors shall appoint a director for the unexpired term.\n(b) If at least five director positions become vacant, the remaining directors may call a special election to fill the vacancies for the unexpired terms.\nAdded by Acts 2007, 80th Leg., R.S., Ch. 920 (H.B. 3166), Sec. 1.02, eff.
