Special District Local Laws Code § 1027.113","heading":"CONTRACTS FOR CARE AND TREATMENT.","body":"(a) The board may contract with a political subdivision of this state or a public or private hospital, private corporation, partnership, or cooperative, located inside or outside the district, for the care and treatment of a sick or injured person of the political subdivision.\n(b) The board may contract with this state or a federal agency for the treatment of a sick or injured person.\nAdded by Acts 2007, 80th Leg., R.S., Ch. 920 (H.B. 3166), Sec. 1.02, eff.
