Special District Local Laws Code § 1029.051","heading":"BOARD ELECTION; TERM.","body":"(a) The board consists of six directors elected from the district at large.\n(b) Unless four-year terms are established under Section 285.081, Health and Safety Code:\n(1) directors serve staggered two-year terms, with three directors elected each year; and\n(2) a directors' election shall be held on the uniform election date in May of each year.\nAdded by Acts 2007, 80th Leg., R.S., Ch. 920 (H.B. 3166), Sec. 1.02, eff.
