Special District Local Laws Code § 1035.059","heading":"DISTRICT ADMINISTRATOR.","body":"(a) The board shall appoint a qualified person as district administrator.\n(b) The district administrator serves at the will of the board and is entitled to the compensation determined by the board.\n(c) The board shall require that before assuming the duties of district administrator the administrator must execute a bond in an amount set by the board of not less than $5,000 that is:\n(1) payable to the district; and\n(2) conditioned on the performance of the administrator's duties.\n(d) The board may pay for the bond with district money.\nAdded by Acts 2009, 81st Leg., R.S., Ch. 1139 (H.B. 2619), Sec. 1.01, eff.
