Special District Local Laws Code § 1035.061","heading":"RECRUITMENT OF MEDICAL STAFF AND EMPLOYEES.","body":"The board may spend district money to recruit physicians, nurses, or other trained medical personnel. The board may pay the tuition or other costs or expenses of a full-time medical or nursing student who:\n(1) is enrolled in and is in good standing at an accredited school, college, or university; and\n(2) contractually agrees to become a district employee in return for that assistance.\nAdded by Acts 2009, 81st Leg., R.S., Ch. 1139 (H.B. 2619), Sec. 1.01, eff.
