Special District Local Laws Code § 1035.151","heading":"EXPANSION OF TERRITORY; BOARD ORDER.","body":"(a) The board may order an election on the question of:\n(1) expanding the district's boundaries to include all of the territory in DeWitt County that is not included in the Yoakum Hospital District;\n(2) the assumption by the additional territory of a proportionate share of district debts; and\n(3) the imposition of taxes in the territory to be added to the district.\n(b) Subsequent elections may be held on the same issue.\nAdded by Acts 2009, 81st Leg., R.S., Ch. 1139 (H.B. 2619), Sec. 1.01, eff.
