Special District Local Laws Code § 1038.051","heading":"BOARD ELECTION; TERM.","body":"(a) The board consists of seven directors elected from the district at large.\n(b) The board shall declare the results of the election.\n(c) Directors serve staggered two-year terms unless four-year terms are established under Section 285.081, Health and Safety Code.\n(d) An election shall be held on the uniform election date in May of each year to elect the appropriate number of directors.\nAdded by Acts 2007, 80th Leg., R.S., Ch. 920 (H.B. 3166), Sec. 1.02, eff.
