Special District Local Laws Code § 1039.156","heading":"ANNUAL AUDIT.","body":"(a) As soon as practicable after the end of each district fiscal year, the board shall have an audit made of the district's finances that contains a detailed accounting of disbursements.\n(b) The board shall select a qualified independent accounting firm to perform the audit.\nAdded by Acts 2007, 80th Leg., R.S., Ch. 920 (H.B. 3166), Sec. 1.02, eff.
