Special District Local Laws Code § 1046.065","heading":"RETIREMENT BENEFITS.","body":"The district may provide retirement benefits for district employees by:\n(1) creating and administering a public retirement system for the district;\n(2) participating in the Texas County and District Retirement System; or\n(3) purchasing annuity contracts from an insurer or annuity company authorized to engage in business in this state.\nAdded by Acts 2007, 80th Leg., R.S., Ch. 920 (H.B. 3166), Sec. 1.02, eff.
