Special District Local Laws Code § 1046.119","heading":"AUTHORITY TO SELL OR CLOSE CERTAIN DISTRICT HOSPITALS.","body":"(a) The board may not sell or close a hospital transferred to the district by the Edna Hospital District unless the sale or closing is approved by a two-thirds majority vote of the district voters voting at an election held for that purpose. A concurrence of seven directors is required to call the election.\n(b) The board may not call another election before the first anniversary of the date of a previous election held under this section.\nAdded by Acts 2007, 80th Leg., R.S., Ch. 920 (H.B. 3166), Sec. 1.02, eff.
