Special District Local Laws Code § 1048.051","heading":"BOARD ELECTION; TERM.","body":"(a) The board is governed by seven directors elected at large by place.\n(b) Unless four-year terms are established under Section 285.081, Health and Safety Code:\n(1) directors serve two-year terms;\n(2) an election shall be held each year on the May uniform election date under Section 41.001, Election Code; and\n(3) the terms of the directors elected to places one through four expire in odd-numbered years and the terms of the directors elected to places five through seven expire in even-numbered years.\nAdded by Acts 2007, 80th Leg., R.S., Ch. 920 (H.B. 3166), Sec. 1.02, eff.
