Special District Local Laws Code § 1048.151","heading":"BUDGET.","body":"(a) The district administrator shall prepare an annual budget for approval by the board.\n(b) The proposed budget must contain a complete financial statement of the district, including:\n(1) the outstanding obligations of the district;\n(2) the cash on hand in each district fund;\n(3) the money received by the district from all sources during the previous year;\n(4) the money available to the district from all sources during the ensuing year, with the balances expected at the end of the year in which the budget is being prepared;\n(5) the estimated revenue and balances available to cover the proposed expenditures and disbursements; and\n(6) the estimated receipts and collections for the following fiscal year.\nAdded by Acts 2007, 80th Leg., R.S., Ch. 920 (H.B. 3166), Sec. 1.02, eff.
