Special District Local Laws Code § 1048.203","heading":"BOND ELECTION.","body":"(a) The district may issue bonds, other than refunding bonds, wholly or partly secured by an ad valorem tax only if the bonds are authorized by a majority of the district voters voting at an election held for that purpose.\n(b) The order and publication of notice for the bond election must be provided in accordance with Chapter 1251, Government Code.\nAdded by Acts 2007, 80th Leg., R.S., Ch. 920 (H.B. 3166), Sec. 1.02, eff.
