Special District Local Laws Code § 1052.051","heading":"BOARD ELECTION; TERM.","body":"(a) The board consists of five directors elected from the district at large.\n(b) Unless four-year terms are established under Section 285.081, Health and Safety Code:\n(1) directors serve staggered two-year terms; and\n(2) the terms of three directors expire in odd-numbered years and the terms of two directors expire in even-numbered years.\n(c) The election order must state the time, place, and purpose of the election.\n(d) A director may not serve more than three successive terms.\nAdded by Acts 2007, 80th Leg., R.S., Ch. 920 (H.B. 3166), Sec. 1.02, eff.
