Special District Local Laws Code § 1053.051","heading":"BOARD APPOINTMENT; TERM.","body":"(a) The board consists of not fewer than six and not more than eight managers appointed as follows:\n(1) one ex officio manager appointed by the Texas Tech University Board of Regents; and\n(2) the remaining managers appointed by the commissioners court.\n(b) Managers serve two-year terms.
