Special District Local Laws Code § 1054.112","heading":"CONTRACTS WITH GOVERNMENTAL ENTITIES FOR SERVICES.","body":"(a) The board may contract with a political subdivision of this state or with a state or federal agency for the district to:\n(1) furnish a mobile emergency medical service; or\n(2) provide for the investigatory or welfare needs of district inhabitants.\n(b) The board may contract with this state or a federal agency for the care and treatment of a sick or injured person.\nAdded by Acts 2007, 80th Leg., R.S., Ch. 920 (H.B. 3166), Sec. 1.02, eff.
