Special District Local Laws Code § 1057.104","heading":"HOSPITAL SYSTEM.","body":"The district shall provide for the establishment of a hospital or hospital system in the district to furnish medical and hospital care to district residents by:\n(1) purchasing, constructing, acquiring, repairing, or renovating buildings and improvements for hospital purposes;\n(2) equipping the buildings and improvements for those purposes; and\n(3) administering the buildings and improvements for those purposes.\nAdded by Acts 2007, 80th Leg., R.S., Ch. 920 (H.B. 3166), Sec. 1.02, eff.
