Special District Local Laws Code § 1061.114","heading":"CONTRACTS FOR HOSPITALIZATION, TREATMENT, AND TRAINING.","body":"(a) The board may contract with any person located inside or outside the district's boundaries for the hospitalization and treatment of a sick or injured person.\n(b) The district may contract with any person located inside or outside the district's boundaries for services provided by the district, including:\n(1) the promotion of health;\n(2) hospital treatment of a sick or injured person; and\n(3) the training of doctors and nurses and the provision of training in health care disciplines.\nAdded by Acts 2009, 81st Leg., R.S., Ch. 1139 (H.B. 2619), Sec. 1.01, eff.
