Special District Local Laws Code § 1062.203","heading":"GENERAL OBLIGATION BOND ELECTION.","body":"(a) The district may issue general obligation bonds only if the bonds are authorized by a majority of the district voters voting at an election held for that purpose.\n(b) The board may order a bond election.\n(c) The election shall be conducted as provided by Chapter 1251, Government Code.\nAdded by Acts 2007, 80th Leg., R.S., Ch. 920 (H.B. 3166), Sec. 1.02, eff.
