Special District Local Laws Code § 1063.051","heading":"BOARD ELECTION; TERM.","body":"(a) The board consists of seven directors elected as follows:\n(1) one director elected from each county commissioners precinct; and\n(2) three directors elected from the district at large by position.\n(b) A district voter may vote on the directors to be elected at large and on the director to be elected from the precinct in which the voter resides.\n(c) An election shall be held on the uniform election date in November of each even-numbered year to elect the appropriate number of directors.\n(d) Directors serve staggered four-year terms that expire on the last day of December.\nAdded by Acts 2009, 81st Leg., R.S., Ch. 1139 (H.B. 2619), Sec. 1.01, eff.
