Special District Local Laws Code § 1068.053","heading":"BALLOT APPLICATION.","body":"A person who wants to have the person's name printed on the ballot as a candidate for director must file with the board secretary an application for a place on the ballot. The application must:\n(1) be filed not later than the 31st day before the date of the election; and\n(2) specify the place for which the person is to be a candidate.\nAdded by Acts 2007, 80th Leg., R.S., Ch. 920 (H.B. 3166), Sec. 1.02, eff.
