Special District Local Laws Code § 1069.051","heading":"BOARD ELECTION; TERM.","body":"(a) The board consists of:\n(1) one director elected from each commissioners precinct; and\n(2) three directors elected from the district at large.\n(b) Unless four-year terms are established under Section 285.081, Health and Safety Code:\n(1) directors serve staggered two-year terms; and\n(2) an election shall be held annually on the May uniform election date, or another date authorized by law, to elect the appropriate number of directors.\nAdded by Acts 2011, 82nd Leg., R.S., Ch. 70 (S.B. 1147), Sec. 1.01, eff.
