Special District Local Laws Code § 1069.151","heading":"PETITION TO EXPAND DISTRICT TERRITORY.","body":"(a) Registered voters of a defined territory not included in the district may file a petition with the board secretary requesting inclusion of the territory in the district.\n(b) The petition must be signed by at least 50 registered voters of the territory or a majority of those voters, whichever is fewer.\nAdded by Acts 2011, 82nd Leg., R.S., Ch. 70 (S.B. 1147), Sec. 1.01, eff.
