Special District Local Laws Code § 1072.056","heading":"OFFICERS.","body":"(a) The board shall elect a president and a vice president from among the directors.\n(b) The board shall appoint a secretary, who need not be a director.\n(c) Each officer of the board serves a one-year term.\n(d) The board shall fill a vacancy in a board office for the remainder of the unexpired term.\nAdded by Acts 2009, 81st Leg., R.S., Ch. 876 (S.B. 2517), Sec. 3.01, eff.
