Special District Local Laws Code § 1072.106","heading":"DISTRICT PROPERTY, FACILITIES, AND EQUIPMENT.","body":"(a) The board shall determine:\n(1) the type, number, and location of buildings required to maintain an adequate hospital system; and\n(2) the type of equipment necessary for hospital care.\n(b) The board may:\n(1) acquire property, facilities, and equipment for the district for use in the hospital system;\n(2) mortgage or pledge the property, facilities, or equipment as security for payment of the purchase price;\n(3) sell or otherwise dispose of property, facilities, or equipment for the district; or\n(4) lease hospital facilities for the district.\nAdded by Acts 2009, 81st Leg., R.S., Ch. 876 (S.B. 2517), Sec. 3.01, eff.
