Special District Local Laws Code § 1073.051","heading":"BOARD ELECTION; TERM.","body":"(a) The board consists of seven directors elected from the district.\n(b) Unless four-year terms are established under Section 285.081, Health and Safety Code:\n(1) directors serve two-year terms; and\n(2) a directors' election shall be held on the uniform election date in May of each year.\n(c) The election order must state the time, place, and purpose of the election.\nAdded by Acts 2009, 81st Leg., R.S., Ch. 1139 (H.B. 2619), Sec. 1.01, eff.
