Special District Local Laws Code § 1076.106","heading":"DISTRICT PROPERTY, FACILITIES, AND EQUIPMENT.","body":"(a) The board shall determine:\n(1) the type, number, and location of buildings required to maintain an adequate hospital system; and\n(2) the type of equipment necessary for hospital care.\n(b) The board may:\n(1) acquire property, including facilities and equipment, for the district for use in the hospital system;\n(2) mortgage or pledge the property as security for the payment of the purchase price;\n(3) lease hospital facilities for the district; and\n(4) sell or otherwise dispose of property, including facilities or equipment, for the district.\nAdded by Acts 2013, 83rd Leg., R.S., Ch. 112 (S.B. 1026), Sec. 1.01, eff.
