Special District Local Laws Code § 1077.152","heading":"PROPOSED BUDGET; NOTICE AND HEARING.","body":"(a) The board shall hold a public hearing on the proposed budget.\n(b) Notice of the hearing must be published at least once in a newspaper of general circulation in Cooke County not later than the 10th day before the date of the hearing.\n(c) Any district taxpayer is entitled to:\n(1) appear at the time and place designated in the notice; and\n(2) be heard regarding any item included in the proposed budget.\nAdded by Acts 2009, 81st Leg., R.S., Ch. 1139 (H.B. 2619), Sec. 1.01, eff.
