Special District Local Laws Code § 1084.051","heading":"BOARD ELECTION; TERM.","body":"(a) The district is governed by a board of seven directors as follows:\n(1) six directors elected by place; and\n(2) the chief of staff elected by the medical staff under Section 1084.063.\n(b) Unless four-year terms are established under Section 285.081, Health and Safety Code, the directors elected to the board serve staggered three-year terms.\nAdded by Acts 2009, 81st Leg., R.S., Ch. 1139 (H.B. 2619), Sec. 1.01, eff.
