Special District Local Laws Code § 1085.058","heading":"APPOINTMENT OF STAFF AND EMPLOYEES.","body":"(a) The board may appoint to the staff any physicians and employ any technicians, nurses, and other employees the board considers necessary for the efficient operation of the district.\n(b) The board may provide that the district administrator has the authority to hire district employees, including technicians and nurses.\nAdded by Acts 2009, 81st Leg., R.S., Ch. 1139 (H.B. 2619), Sec. 1.01, eff.
