Special District Local Laws Code § 1086.057","heading":"OFFICERS.","body":"(a) The board shall elect from among its members a president and a vice president.\n(b) The board shall appoint a secretary, who need not be a director.\n(c) The president may vote only to break a tie vote.\n(d) Each officer of the board serves a one-year term.\n(e) The board shall fill a vacancy in a board office for the unexpired term.\nAdded by Acts 2011, 82nd Leg., R.S., Ch. 70 (S.B. 1147), Sec. 1.01, eff.
