Special District Local Laws Code § 1087.054","heading":"BOND; RECORD OF BOND.","body":"(a) Before assuming the duties of office, each director must execute a bond for $1,000 that is:\n(1) payable to the district; and\n(2) conditioned on the faithful performance of the director's duties.\n(b) The district shall pay for a director's bond.\n(c) Each director's bond shall be deposited with a depository bank of the district for safekeeping.\nAdded by Acts 2013, 83rd Leg., R.S., Ch. 112 (S.B. 1026), Sec. 1.01, eff.
