Special District Local Laws Code § 1091.051","heading":"BOARD ELECTION; TERM.","body":"(a) The district is governed by a board of nine directors elected from the district at large.\n(b) Unless four-year terms are established under Section 285.081, Health and Safety Code:\n(1) directors serve staggered two-year terms; and\n(2) an election shall be held on the uniform election date in May of each year to elect the appropriate number of directors.\nAdded by Acts 2009, 81st Leg., R.S., Ch. 1139 (H.B. 2619), Sec. 1.01, eff.
