Special District Local Laws Code § 1091.302","heading":"NOTICE OF ELECTION.","body":"(a) The board shall give notice of an election under this subchapter by publishing once a week for two consecutive weeks a substantial copy of the election order in a newspaper with general circulation in the district.\n(b) The first publication of the notice must appear at least 35 days before the date set for the election.\nAdded by Acts 2009, 81st Leg., R.S., Ch. 1139 (H.B. 2619), Sec. 1.01, eff.
