Special District Local Laws Code § 1092.052","heading":"QUALIFICATIONS FOR OFFICE.","body":"To qualify for election to the board, a person must:\n(1) be at least 21 years of age;\n(2) have been a resident of the district for at least two years;\n(3) have been a resident of the county commissioners precinct for at least six months if the person seeks to represent a county commissioners precinct position; and\n(4) be a qualified voter of the district.\nAdded by Acts 2009, 81st Leg., R.S., Ch. 1139 (H.B. 2619), Sec. 1.01, eff.
