Special District Local Laws Code § 1095.056","heading":"OFFICERS.","body":"(a) The board shall elect:\n(1) a president and a vice president from among its members; and\n(2) a secretary, who need not be a director.\n(b) Each officer of the board serves for a term of one year.\n(c) The board shall fill a vacancy in a board office for the unexpired term.\nAdded by Acts 2009, 81st Leg., R.S., Ch. 1139 (H.B. 2619), Sec. 1.01, eff.
