Special District Local Laws Code § 1098.203","heading":"GENERAL OBLIGATION BOND ELECTION.","body":"(a) The district may issue general obligation bonds only if the bonds are authorized by a majority of the district voters voting at an election held for that purpose.\n(b) The board may order a bond election.\n(c) The election must be conducted in accordance with Chapter 1251, Government Code.\nAdded by Acts 2011, 82nd Leg., R.S., Ch. 70 (S.B. 1147), Sec. 1.01, eff.
