Special District Local Laws Code § 1099.151","heading":"TERRITORY THAT MAY BE ANNEXED.","body":"(a) The district may annex territory that is not located in:\n(1) Sherman County;\n(2) the boundaries of another hospital district; or\n(3) the proposed boundaries of another hospital district authorized by the legislature under Section 9, Article IX, Texas Constitution.\n(b) Territory may be annexed in one or more tracts. Each tract must be contiguous to:\n(1) the district; or\n(2) territory proposed to be annexed to the district.\nAdded by Acts 2011, 82nd Leg., R.S., Ch. 70 (S.B. 1147), Sec. 1.01, eff.
