Special District Local Laws Code § 1100.064","heading":"RECRUITMENT OF MEDICAL STAFF.","body":"(a) The district may spend district money to recruit physicians, nurses, or other trained medical personnel.\n(b) The district may pay the tuition or other costs or expenses of a full-time medical or nursing student who:\n(1) is enrolled in and is in good standing at an accredited school, college, or university; and\n(2) contractually agrees to become a district employee in return for that assistance.\nAdded by Acts 2011, 82nd Leg., R.S., Ch. 70 (S.B. 1147), Sec. 1.01, eff.
