Special District Local Laws Code § 11006.051","heading":"AUTHORITY TERRITORY.","body":"(a) The authority is composed of the territory described by Section 2, Chapter 436, Acts of the 66th Legislature, Regular Session, 1979, as that territory may have been modified under:\n(1) this subchapter or its predecessor statute, Section 7, Chapter 436, Acts of the 66th Legislature, Regular Session, 1979;\n(2) Subchapter J, Chapter 49, Water Code; or\n(3) other law.\n(b) The boundaries of the authority form a closure. A mistake does not affect:\n(1) the authority's organization, existence, or validity;\n(2) the authority's right to issue any type of bond for a purpose for which the authority is created or to pay the principal of and interest on the bond;\n(3) the authority's right to impose a tax; or\n(4) the legality or operation of the authority, its bonds, or its governing body.\nAdded by Acts 2015, 84th Leg., R.S., Ch. 855 (S.B. 1162), Sec. 1.07, eff.
