Special District Local Laws Code § 1101.051","heading":"BOARD ELECTION; TERM.","body":"(a) The district is governed by a board of seven directors elected as follows:\n(1) one director elected from each commissioners precinct; and\n(2) three directors elected from the district at large.\n(b) Directors serve staggered four-year terms.\n(c) An election shall be held in each even-numbered year on the May uniform election date prescribed under Section 41.001, Election Code, or another date authorized by law, to elect the appropriate number of directors.\nAdded by Acts 2011, 82nd Leg., R.S., Ch. 70 (S.B. 1147), Sec. 1.01, eff.
