Special District Local Laws Code § 11010.059","heading":"MEETINGS AND ACTIONS OF BOARD; QUORUM.","body":"(a) The board may meet as many times each year as the board considers appropriate.\n(b) A majority of the membership of the board constitutes a quorum at a meeting of the board.\n(c) A concurrence of a majority of the directors present and voting is sufficient for transacting any business of the authority unless other applicable law, or the authority by rule, requires a concurrence of a greater number of directors for a specific type of decision.\n(d) Directors of the authority are public officials and are entitled to governmental immunity for their actions in their capacity as directors and officers of the authority.\nAdded by Acts 2017, 85th Leg., R.S., Ch. 806 (S.B. 1198), Sec. 2, eff.
