Special District Local Laws Code § 1105.051","heading":"BOARD ELECTION; TERM.","body":"(a) The district is governed by a board of seven directors elected from the district at large in the manner provided by Section 1105.0515.\n(b) Unless four-year terms are established under Section 285.081, Health and Safety Code:\n(1) directors serve staggered two-year terms with the terms of three or four directors expiring each year as appropriate; and\n(2) a directors' election shall be held annually on the May uniform election date or another date authorized by law.\nAdded by Acts 2011, 82nd Leg., R.S., Ch. 70 (S.B. 1147), Sec. 1.01, eff.
