Special District Local Laws Code § 1105.063","heading":"RECRUITMENT OF MEDICAL STAFF.","body":"(a) The board may spend district money to recruit physicians, nurses, or other trained medical personnel.\n(b) The board may:\n(1) contract with a full-time medical or nursing student who is enrolled and in good standing in an accredited school, college, or university; and\n(2) agree to pay the student's tuition or other costs or expenses if the student agrees to serve in the district on terms prescribed by the contract.\nAdded by Acts 2011, 82nd Leg., R.S., Ch. 70 (S.B. 1147), Sec. 1.01, eff.
