Special District Local Laws Code § 1109.104","heading":"HOSPITAL OR HOSPITAL SYSTEM.","body":"(a) The district shall provide for the establishment, administration, maintenance, operation, and financing of a hospital or hospital system in the district.\n(b) The district may provide any services or facilities necessary for hospital or medical care, including:\n(1) rural health clinics;\n(2) outpatient clinics;\n(3) nursing homes;\n(4) home health care agencies;\n(5) extended care facilities;\n(6) assisted living or personal care facilities; and\n(7) retirement, housing, and medical office buildings.\nAdded by Acts 2013, 83rd Leg., R.S., Ch. 112 (S.B. 1026), Sec. 1.01, eff.
