Special District Local Laws Code § 1111.061","heading":"APPOINTMENT OF STAFF AND EMPLOYEES.","body":"(a) The board may:\n(1) appoint to the staff any doctors and employ any technicians, nurses, and other employees considered necessary for the efficient operation of the district; and\n(2) provide that the district administrator has the authority to employ district employees, including technicians and nurses.\n(b) The district may employ fiscal agents, accountants, architects, and attorneys the board considers proper.\nAdded by Acts 2011, 82nd Leg., R.S., Ch. 70 (S.B. 1147), Sec. 1.01, eff.
