Special District Local Laws Code § 1111.109","heading":"OPERATING AND MANAGEMENT CONTRACTS.","body":"The district through the board may:\n(1) enter into an operating or management contract with any person regarding any district hospital or any part of the district hospital system; and\n(2) delegate to the person the power to:\n(A) manage and operate the hospital or hospital system or a portion of the hospital or hospital system; and\n(B) employ and discharge employees or appoint and remove doctors from the staff.\nAdded by Acts 2011, 82nd Leg., R.S., Ch. 70 (S.B. 1147), Sec. 1.01, eff.
