Special District Local Laws Code § 1113.251","heading":"IMPOSITION OF AD VALOREM TAX.","body":"(a) On final approval of the budget, the board shall impose a tax on all taxable property in the district subject to district taxation.\n(b) The board shall impose the tax to:\n(1) pay the interest on and create a sinking fund for bonds issued by the district for hospital purposes as provided by this chapter;\n(2) provide for the maintenance and operations of the hospital or hospital system;\n(3) make improvements and additions to the hospital system; and\n(4) acquire necessary sites for the hospital system by purchase, lease, or condemnation.\nAdded by Acts 2013, 83rd Leg., R.S., Ch. 112 (S.B. 1026), Sec. 1.01, eff.
