Special District Local Laws Code § 1115.055","heading":"BOARD VACANCY.","body":"(a) If a vacancy occurs in the office of director, the remaining directors shall fill the vacancy for the unexpired term.\n(b) A person appointed under Subsection (a) to fill a vacancy from a precinct must be a resident of the precinct the person is to represent.\nAdded by Acts 2013, 83rd Leg., R.S., Ch. 112 (S.B. 1026), Sec. 1.01, eff.
