Special District Local Laws Code § 1115.056","heading":"OFFICERS.","body":"(a) The board shall elect:\n(1) a president and a vice president from among its members; and\n(2) a secretary, who need not be a director.\n(b) Each officer of the board serves a one-year term.\n(c) The board shall fill a vacancy in a board office for the unexpired term.\nAdded by Acts 2013, 83rd Leg., R.S., Ch. 112 (S.B. 1026), Sec. 1.01, eff.
